I have so many thoughts (good thoughts) about this book, I don't even know where to start. Out of all the productivity and self-help and business/management books I have ever read (and I must confess, I have read a lot) this is the first one to go off in my head like a depth charge. It literally changed the way I look at the entire world. 

 

Today a friend was telling me about one of his clients, who had done a lot of work for a particular distributer, and recently asked the distributor to create a dedicated website that he would use to sell their product exclusively. "Aha," I thought, "Reciprocity. Using the favors that people owe you, instead of endlessly hoarding them. Coming up with a mutually beneficial plan, and asking for what you want." It was all so clear.
